Apple iPhone Email Setup

Email using the mail app requires some setups in the settings menu. Overall we are setting up for three different account types called the Mail, CalDAV, and CardDAV. Mail is your email server, CalDAV is your calendars, and CarDAV is your contacts.

• Navigate to the ‘Settings’ app.
• If on iOS 14+: Navigate to Mail. Then Accounts.
  If on iOS 13 or older: Navigate to ‘Passwords and Account.’
• Select ‘Add New Account.’
• Select ‘Add Mail Account.’
• Enter the account information for the email you are wishing to setup.
• You will then be brought to a screen with ‘Outgoing’ and ‘Incoming’ Servers that will require the below information.
  1. Hostname: zimbra.bennettig.com
  2. Email Username (The first part of your email before the ‘@’)
     1. Users with ‘Bosscrane.com or Acedoran.com will enter their full address.

     1. Open Zimbra on your computer by going to https://zimbra.bennettig.com and signing in.
     2. Go to 'Preferences' located among the four tabs at the top of the page.
     3. Go to 'Accounts' on the menu to the left.
     4. Scroll down until you find the button that says 'Add Application Code' then click it.
     5. Enter a name that you would like to call it.
     6. The string of CAPITAL LETTERS is your password for both the incoming and outgoing servers.
     7. For the CalDAV and CardDav account, you will need a new application code to enter into the password space for each.
• You will hit done and if you get all checkmarks and no pop-up window.
• Now, go back to ‘Add New Account.’
• Select ‘Add CardDAV Account.’
• You will enter the above information from (7) then hit ‘Next’
• Once again, all checkmarks mean it is configured correctly.
• Now, go back to ‘Add New Account.’
• Select ‘Add CalDAV Account.’
• You will enter the above information from (7) then hit ‘Next’
• Once again, all checkmarks mean it is configured correctly.
