Below are some steps to follow for Troubleshooting your monitor issues.
1. Check to make sure it is on. I know this seems like a basic thing to think of, but it is more common than you may think. If there is not a light lit up on your monitor (green, red, blue, yellow). If you don't see any lights, press the power button on the monitor and see if you get a light. If so, it is on, and you should be good, if nothing comes up, go to the next step.
2. Check your connections. Unplug each cable on the monitor one at a time, and reconnect it. Then do the same on the computer side. Sometimes cables can come lose and cause connection issues.
3. Restart your computer. This is usually the last thing to try, as it takes the longest amount of time. Sometimes hardware can act funky, and need a good reset.
